Yoga classes at Flow Space are inclusive and considerate of body diversity.

All shapes, sizes and abilities are welcome and will be supported in a personalised and respectful way.

ANGELA CONNELL

Ange is a fully qualified 500YT and has been teaching and coaching full time since 2016.

 

She teaches within the scope of Hatha Vinyasa with a special interest in; yoga therapy, trauma sensitive yoga,

breathwork, meditation,

Buddhist Philosophy and Advaita Vedantic spiritual teachings.

 

In addition, as a Holistic Massage Therapist with extensive anatomical knowledge, she understands and is able to support body diversity and teach in a more personalised way. 

 

Angela teaches with respect and inclusion of the whole and individual person, acknowledging the mental-emotional layers of practice along with the anatomical alignment. She offers the opportunity to develop self-awareness, confidence and empowerment through promoting variety and choice in her classes. 

 

Having a history of eating disorders, obsessive fitness regimes and chronic pain and injuries, she has personally experienced the holistic and healing power of yoga to bring balance, peace and freedom to mind and body.

She believes that teaching in an invitational way that offers opportunities for self-led-learning, body awareness and choice will enable participants to benefit from yoga throughout their lives, on or off the mat.

 

With continued learning, self and spiritual awareness, functional movement and body-love, yoga is forever relevant and necessary for our collective humanity.
