Angela has been teaching and coaching full time since 2016. She teaches within the broad range of Hatha Vinyasa with a special interest in meditation, pranayama, and spiritual teachings.
She is also a massage therapist with extensive anatomical knowledge. This experience and understanding enables her to support body diversity and teach in a more personalised way.
Angela teaches with respect and inclusion of the whole and individual person, acknowledging anatomical and personal alignment. She offers the opportunity to develop self-awareness, confidence and empowerment through promoting variety and choice in her classes.
Having a history of eating disorders, obsessive fitness regimes and chronic pain, she has personally experienced the holistic and healing power of yoga to bring balance, peace and freedom to mind and body.
She believes that teaching in an invitational way that offers opportunities for self-led-learning, body awareness and choice will enable participants to benefit from yoga through continued functional movement, self-awareness and care beyond 'the mat'.
